"Memories are powerful, and Yours are priceless."

What are your memories worth to you?

If you could preserve a single moment in time and forever be able to return to that moment to relive the experience, what would that do for you? What emotions would you be able to feel again that would otherwise have faded into the background? And what would you want to remember the most?

It is these memories, these precious moments, that line the pages of our life's story and lead us to become who we are.
The feeling shared between spouses on the day of their wedding, the happiness shared during their engagement, and the look on her face when he popped the question: these memories are irreplaceable.

They are lived only once, but they are cherished forever.

Nephi Boren photography is all about capturing the moment and preserving your memories to be treasured now and for generations to come.

Because if not preserved, those memories begin to fade. Things change with time. People get older, and circumstances change. What doesn't change is the past, and the past, once preserved, increases in value as relationships grow and bring new meaning to old memories. Don't let that fade away. Preserve the now so you can cherish it forever.

Behind the Camera

Nephi Boren is a wedding photographer based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. His photographic style is a cross between traditional portraiture and photojournalism and often incorporates bright colors, close up shots, backlighting, and candid-style facial expressions.

Though he is only 23 years old, Nephi has more than 10 years of experience with photography and roughly 8 years of experience with portrait photography. He grew up in the Mojave Desert where his love for nature and creativity led to many hours exploring and photographing the desert landscape. He began experimenting with portraiture and practiced it as a business in high school. He converted a spare room in the basement into a studio and did work for local sports teams, families, graduating high school seniors, couples, and others.

After serving a mission in Northern Argentina, he moved to Salt Lake City where he studied business management at LDS Business College and began photographing weddings.

His work has been published in print by The New Era and Ensign Magazines and online by Outdoor Photographer and Popular Photography Magazines.

"The Excitement

     is only Beginning."

  Captured Emotion

"When I first started doing portraiture, I didn't really understand why I was doing it. As time went on, I came to value how portrait photography captures and preserves emotions.

Expression of emotion at a certain time in one's life, like a bolt of lightning, exists only for a moment. For that reason, it is important to preserve it in memory and in photograph.

As an event and portrait photographer, I get to photograph people at specific times in their lives when emotions are visible and preserve them to be cherished for years to come. I get to capture and show people something truly amazing that they don’t normally get to see: themselves, in their true, natural expression of emotion and self.

I am in the art of preserving your memories, so that you can enjoy them in clarity for the years ahead, regardless of where life’s changes take you."

"The Rest of my Story

is Really about You."

It’s your story that I’m interested in preserving. You are the real reason I have a photography business, and you are the one who most benefits from it, day after day, as you relish the memories made.

So here’s to you. Here’s to your story.

Go tell it with courage.”
